The government has extended the restrictions on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel, and a number of other petroleum products from Russia for an additional five months, until July 31, 2026. The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the cabinet on January 31.
The decision is aimed at maintaining a stable situation in the Russian fuel market, as explained by the government's press service. The ban does not apply to supplies under intergovernmental agreements and humanitarian deliveries.
